Weak or ambiguous signals. Best guess based on catalog patterns; treat as tentative and check the evidence below.
  • 'uncensored' in name/tags but no 'abliterated' marker
  • method not identifiable from author declaration alone
  • may be DPO fine-tune, prompt engineering, or unknown technique
Refusal direction extraction

No specific extraction method could be identified for this model. The producer either did not document it or used a proprietary pipeline.

Qwen3.8 27B Uncensored Fast by Heabsy

Qwen3.8 27B with the refusal behaviour removed. Heabsy quantized the weights and serves the model. We ran GPQA Diamond, IFBench and MMLU-Pro on it and on the original Qwen3.8 27B through the same API, with the same prompts and settings, and the scores match within measurement error.

Heabsy is the only provider of this model. You can use it through the Heabsy API and through storefronts where Heabsy
serves it. The weights are not published, and the license does not allow anyone else to resell, proxy or
list it.

Highlights

Quality

On par

GPQA Diamond 84.8%, IFBench 73.3%, MMLU-Pro 79.9%. On every test the gap to the original Qwen3.8 27B is smaller than the measurement error.

Speed

~190 tok/s

Median generation speed per request on production traffic (answers longer than 1,000 tokens, 24 hours to 14 October 2026).

Context

524K

524,288 tokens per request. Text and image input, tool calling, reasoning in a separate field.

Privacy

EEA

Served in the European Economic Area. Prompts and completions are not stored in request logs.

Benchmarks

MMLU-Pro, % 1,400 questions, 5-shot CoT, reasoning off 79.9 ± 2.1 80.5 ± 2.1 −0.6 ± 1.6 n/a

MMLU-Pro against Qwen's own published weights (same prompts and greedy decoding, questions both runs answered):

Qwen3.8 27B, official FP8 weights 898 81.5 reference
This model 898 80.4 −1.1 ± 1.9

Measured by Heabsy AI on 14 October 2026 through the Heabsy API, with the same prompts and settings for both models and the requests interleaved. Qwen3.8 27B, same API is Heabsy's Qwen3.8 27B model: the same 4-bit weights and serving stack with the original refusal behaviour, so the difference column shows what the refusal removal costs. ± is the 95% confidence interval. Difference is this model minus Qwen3.8 27B on the same questions; McNemar p: GPQA 0.63, IFBench strict 0.75, loose 1.00, MMLU-Pro 0.54. Reasoning on: temperature 1.0, top_p 0.95, top_k 20, max_tokens 32,768, one sample per question. The API limits reasoning to 16,384 tokens per response for both models; answers that ran out of tokens count as wrong. GPQA Diamond: 0-shot, options shuffled with a fixed seed, answer line "ANSWER: X". IFBench: official AllenAI evaluator. MMLU-Pro: TIGER-Lab prompt with 5 examples from the same category, greedy, max 4,000 tokens, on a stratified subset that keeps the category shares of the 12,032-question test set. Qwen's report: numbers from the Qwen3.8-27B model card, measured by Qwen with its own evaluation code and full-precision weights; the card does not give the reasoning budget for these tests. They are here for context, since our two columns share one setup and Qwen's numbers come from another. † Qwen's card does not say whether its IFBench number is strict or loose. Official FP8 weights: Qwen/Qwen3.8-27B-FP8 run by Heabsy on 8 October 2026 on a test server with the same MMLU-Pro prompts and decoding.

        "messages": [{"role": "user", "content": "Hello!"}]
      }'
Tool calling
tools = [{
    "type": "function",
    "function": {
        "name": "get_weather",
        "description": "Current weather for a city",
        "parameters": {
            "type": "object",
            "properties": {"city": {"type": "string"}},
            "required": ["city"],
        },
    },
}]

response = client.chat.completions.create(
    model="heabsy/qwen3.8-27b-uncensored-fast",
    messages=[{"role": "user", "content": "What's the weather in Bratislava?"}],
    tools=tools,
)
print(response.choices[0].message.tool_calls)
Reasoning

Reasoning comes back in the reasoning field of the message, separate from content.
To turn it off for a request, send reasoning_effort: "none" or reasoning: {"enabled": false}:

response = client.chat.completions.create(
    model="heabsy/qwen3.8-27b-uncensored-fast",
    messages=[{"role": "user", "content": "Give me three names for a fantasy tavern."}],
    reasoning_effort="none",
)

If max_tokens is below 1,024 and the request does not ask for reasoning, the model answers without it, so
a short limit still returns an answer. Reasoning is capped at 16,384 tokens per response.

Where to use it

  • Heabsy API: platform.heabsy.com, model ID heabsy/qwen3.8-27b-uncensored-fast
  • Authorized storefronts: none yet

Heabsy updates this list when a storefront is added. A model offered elsewhere under this name, or by another
provider, is a different model.

Limitations

  • Few built-in refusals. The model answers requests that the original Qwen3.8 27B declines. If you serve end users, add moderation that fits your product.
  • Reasoning limit. Reasoning stops at 16,384 tokens. On GPQA Diamond, 6 of 198 answers ran out of tokens before the final letter.
  • 4-bit weights. The benchmarks above match the original within their error margins. Other tasks may still differ a little.
  • Knowledge cutoff. The model inherits it from the base model and can state outdated or wrong facts, so check anything important.

License

Heabsy Model License, full text in LICENSE.md. In short:

  • You may use the model through the Heabsy API or an authorized storefront, for personal or commercial work, and build your own products on it.
  • You may not resell access, proxy or re-serve the model, or list it as a provider on NanoGPT, OpenRouter or any other aggregator or inference provider.
  • The weights are not distributed.
  • The model is based on Qwen3.8-27B by the Qwen team, Alibaba Cloud, and its refusal removal builds on Huihui-Qwen3.8-27B-abliterated by huihui-ai. Both are licensed under Apache 2.0, and this license does not limit what Apache 2.0 allows for them.

Use of the API is also subject to the Heabsy Terms of Service. For a hosting or reseller
agreement, write to [email protected].
