Description

IFEval - Instruction Following Evaluation Dataset

This dataset is designed for evaluating how well language models follow specific instructions when generating responses. It serves as the default evaluation data for IFEval repository.

Dataset Description

The IFEval dataset contains prompts with specific instructions designed to test language models' ability to follow directions precisely. It is intended for use with the evaluation framework described in the paper… See the full description on the dataset page: https://huggingface.co/datasets/kaleinaNyan/instruction-following-eval.

It is intended for use with the evaluation framework described in the paper Instruction-Following Evaluation for Large Language Models.

The dataset is available in two language variants:

  • English (en)
  • Russian (ru)

Both variants are equivalent in terms of the instructions and evaluation criteria, allowing for cross-lingual comparison of instruction-following capabilities.

Usage

This dataset is primarily intended to be used with the IFEval repository. The framework automatically loads the appropriate dataset based on the language setting when no specific input data is provided.

Dataset Structure

Each example in the dataset contains:

  • key: A unique identifier for the example
  • prompt: The input text given to the model
  • instruction_id_list: List of instruction IDs being tested
  • kwargs: Parameters for each instruction

README history 6 revisions

Every night we snapshot the README of every dataset in the catalog. When the SHA changes we archive the new version and diff it against the last. This is the evolving thought record of the alignment-data field: what the author decided to say about the corpus, and how that framing shifted over time.

Used by abliterated models none yet

No abliterated models in our catalog have declared this dataset in their YAML metadata yet. This can mean the dataset is used but not declared, is used outside abliteration workflows, or is new. The link will populate automatically as models are indexed.

Catalog is the map. Apps are the tools.

Run models on your own machine, not in the cloud.

Every model page has an "Open in Abliteration" button that hands the model directly to the first-party desktop client, at the quantization your rig can actually run. No API keys, no subscription, no prompt leakage.
